Children's Services
Commitment
The National Quality Standard (NQS) sets the benchmark for the quality of education and care services in Australia. Accessible quality areas include educational program, health and safety, physical environment, staffing, relationships, partnerships, governance and leadership.
Our Services show outstanding results with 100% meeting or exceeding the NQS. This achievement is well above the State and National averages and demonstrates our strong commitment to all areas of quality.
Our Local Commitment
We understand families need high quality and affordable childcare that’s conveniently located. Council offers 52 services throughout Penrith City with a mix of Long Day Care, Preschool, Out of School Hours Care, Vacation Care and a Mobile Playvan.
Our services are not for profit with all proceeds invested into our educational facilities and resources. We offer highly competitive, all-inclusive fees and importantly do not charge a bond or security deposit, or fees for public holidays.
Our Services
Our Services provide a safe, secure and inclusive environment for all children and young people including those with additional needs. Each year we provide quality care for more than 4000 children and young people between the ages of 0-12 years. Our skilled educators and staff are highly trained, qualified and passionate about delivering quality care and education.
Our Families Promise
As part of our journey to bring our Vision to life, Penrith City Council Children’s Services have developed Our Families Promise. This new customer promise places families at the heart of everything we do.
